With an all star cast of Northern Michigan musicians, The Ride is a full on Country/Rock rodeo on wheels. Stealing hearts with their elaborate entrances, dynamic stage antics and cowboy reputation, the band is quickly becoming a staple in their home territory and turning new audience members into full on “Riders” with each concert they play. An evening with The Ride is a ride in itself, taking audience members on fandom filled journeys loaded with nostalgic country classics, southern rock staples, and head bangin’ anthems, all performed with youthful hometown moxy. The group is comprised of four seasoned musical friends, each accomplished in their own right, High Stakes Jake (Jake Allen, The Cookies, The Accidentals), Terry James (Zeal for Days, Aldrich and Co.) The Sheriff T. Daniels (Aldrich and Company, A Brighter Bloom) and newcomer Spencer Oppermann. Together their collective instrumental prowess, authentic camaraderie, and tight four part harmonies fuel their exciting sets including songs from Alan Jackson to Luke Combs, Lynard Skynard to Kid Rock and Ozzy Osbourne to Metallica, along with several original songs from Oppermann himself.
